Role Description:
The

Embedded Firmware Engineer

must have at least 9+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of software used in telecommunication equipment.
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements into software programs.
• Responsible for the analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of existing programs.
• Maintain documentation and version control for software programs.
• Interface with software developers and testers to support testing and maintenance.
• Lead the software engineering process (unit testing, code reviews, documentation delivery) and support the test and integration process.

Skills Requirement:

• Demonstrated background in one or more programming languages and/or systems integration (C/C++ preferred, Linux, VHDL)
• Experience working with integrated product teams that may be geographically separated.
• Experience working with commercial development tools and processes
• Development experience within a LINUX crosscompilation environment using industry standard tools (gcc, cmake, git)
• Networking experience is preferred.
• Experience with managing security vulnerabilities is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering required, master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years' Experience in programming, preferably related to telecommunication and satellite communication systems.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
