    Technical Analyst

    This position collects requirements and converts into technical documentation for teams to consume. This role is a key contributor in influencing the business and technical analysis process across the entire enterprise.

    Primary Accountabilities

    • Works with the appropriate business groups throughout the application lifecycle to gather requirements, including design creation, code reviews, and test case sign off.
    • Collaborates with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design, and creation of quality technical solutions.
    • Clearly and concisely communicates verbal and written requirements and analysis output to development.
    • Aligns technical solutions with business and strategic visions while complying with the organization's architectural standards.
    • Identifies areas for simplification and bundling of requests to streamline project execution and make recommendations towards the need to develop new or reuse existing functionality.
    • Provide estimation of level of effort through partnership with system owners and all affected functions.

    • Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems to make informed decisions. Organize and analyze a solution as part of a whole and its individual components.

    • A foundational understanding of insurance principles is desirable.
    • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and report generation.
    • Practical experience with the Jira/Atlassian suite for project tracking and collaboration.
    • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
    • A nuanced comprehension of customer journey mapping, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and visualization
