Job summary
We're seeking a DSP-2 Respite Lead to join our TERI team The DSP-2 Respite Weekend Lead is responsible for supervision of the individuals served at TERI and implementation of any and all individualized schedules learning and behavior support plans provision of active support and assistance with health care daily life skills.YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Assists individuals with self-care activities of daily living providing the appropriate level of support Depending on the program can include making meals shopping assisting clients with laundry and maintaining a clean organized home or program.
- Assures that choices are an integral part of a client/student's day and assures that these are available; honors individual choice whenever possible based on safety and individual needs/restrictions.
- Delivers individual program plans/goals and behavior support plans as designed; assures active support for all persons served.
- Provides on-going training supervision and evaluation of facility staff volunteers by providing feedback to facility staff promptly when needed.
