DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Inc. is the largest Residential HVAC Company in the United States. We are a rapidly growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), Sarasota, and TampaWe are currently hiring for a Residential Estimator.
This position's primary responsibility is to analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for HVAC new construction projects.
Reviews blueprints, change orders, and associated project specifications and past project data to compile accurate estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
Reviews project data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized take-off lists of sheet metal, duct, piping, valves, and associated equipment.
Estimates labor costs by phase based on labor standards and estimates materials/equipment costs.Draws HVAC design on blueprints and makes changes to same during "red-line" procedure.
Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of all office equipment.
