- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences and stay informed through company provided training about product features, benefits, and promotions.
- Ensure all footwear customers are measured, scanned, fit, and gait analyzed according to Fit2Run procedures, and following the sales process.
- Responsible for answering customer inquiries promptly in person and over the phone by providing top of the line customer service.
- Greet all customers upon entering the store and assist them with their needs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Assist customers with prescription recommendations received from their podiatrist.
- If necessary, help customers with other department purchases, or lead them to employees in other departments.
- Always try to sell corresponding accessories with purchases, e.g.- socks and insoles with footwear. Also refer customers to all other areas of the store to maximize sales.
- Promote Fit2Run membership to all customers and provide them with the benefits of being a member.
- Assists cleaning and organizing of inventory in backroom, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
- Assists by keeping all footwear styles, insoles, and socks displayed in an organized manner and in the correct categories.
- Helps to maintain store cleanliness through general housekeeping by keeping floors swept and mopped, the footwear wall waxed, and shoe shelves dusted.
- Assists with keeping entire store clean, organized, and follows the stores merchandising recommendations.
- Follow all Fit2Run policies and procedures.
- May be responsible for completing Opening/Closing checklists and report any discrepancies to the store leadership.
- Assist with Fit2Run fun run events and other activities in the store.
- Responsible for completing required vendor training to learn about the products sold by Fit2Run.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- Passion for helping customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to engage with diverse customer demographics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job DescriptionFit2Run is a family-owned and operated specialty retailer established in 2006, in fact, "Family Matters" is one of our company's core values. We pride ourselves in giving back and bringing people together within our local communities through fun runs, partnering with local non-profit leaders, and by providing scholarships to survivors of childhood cancer through the Big Bill Foundation.

There is more to Fit2Run than running, we are about empowering our customers and employees at all fitness levels to embrace and lead an active lifestyle from head to toe. We are more than your average retailer, we are a specialty store within the local community that believes in enriching lives, fostering connections within the community, and delivering exceptional experiences to our valued customers.
Since our inception, we have grown to operate 32 stores located throughout Florida and Puerto Rico, with more stores opening in 2024 and beyond.
We are looking for qualified Retail Sales Associates, Key Holders and Receivers to join our Fit2Run Family in our newest location in Orange Park, Florida store.

About our Founder and the Big Bill Foundation
Bill Robinson, who partnered with Manatee County in the late 2000s to turn 487 acres of rehabilitated farmland into the hiking trails and mangrove habitats in northwest Bradenton now known as Robinson Preserve, passed in 2020 following a hard-fought battle with leukemia at the age of 70. The Big Bill Foundation was created to honor the legacy of Bill, who loved running, surfing, going for long walks outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Bill was one of the original board members of the Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, SANCA, and served as chairman from 2014–18.
He dedicated countless hours of service to make SANCA and Nathan Benderson Park a success. Bill's passion for sport, the community and his family was evident to anyone who spent time with him. Bill Robinson was a great leader and mentor, who had a natural gift to inspire and motivate.
