    Summary:

    Directs the major gifts program and other fundraising strategies to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the Foundations' Board of Directors, and the Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI).


    Detailed responsibilities:
    Directs Foundation fundraising through volunteer groups, fundraising events, targeted campaigns, and community organizations to achieve MCI's fundraising goals.

    Plans and monitors the development of grant proposals, special events, capital projects, and other fundraising programs to provide a minimum of $1 million annually in support of MCI programs.

    Develops and implements departmental fundraising goals, plans, and standards consistent with the needs of MCI as outlined by physicians and administrative staff as well as legal and ethical requirements and objectives of the organization.

    Develops and implements strategies for major donor and prospect moves management and solicitation.


    Education:
    Bachelors (Required)

    Required Work Experience:
    Five (5) years of fundraising experience in a non-profit setting with emphasis on donor retention, Capital Campaign, and prospect research
