- Initiate communication with liable claimants and insurance providers, ensuring prompt and efficient recoveries.
- Articulate our liability theory to an opposing party or arbitration panel, demonstrating your negotiation prowess.
- Facilitate settlements with opposing carrier representatives, legal professionals, or claimants.
- Create written drafts of arbitration contentions, passionately advocating liability and adeptly challenging reductions to submitted demands.
- Strive towards obtaining certification to serve as an arbitration panelist.
- Showcase understanding of regulatory claims handling guidelines and statutory regulations.
- Comply with internal control requirements of the department and actively engage in team initiatives to meet local targets.
- Participate in both internal and external training sessions to stay abreast of industry developments.
- Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and/or possess 3-5 years of experience in claims related to Subrogation, Casualty, PIP, or Physical Damage.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities.
- Display proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Prove capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and excel in conflict resolution.
