    The Holiday Inn Madison at the American Center is looking for professional, high-energy bartenders with excellent communication skills. We are hiring for a part-time position.

    Job Description:
    This position requires a motivated, dependable, and detailed-oriented individual who can multi-task and demonstrate a customer-focused attitude. Our team members know how to exceed guest expectations while maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism. You are responsible for ensuring our guests can have a fantastic time at the bar, while still receiving top-of-the-line service.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare bar area by getting out alcoholic beverages and placing them in a neat and orderly manner
    • Take beverage orders from guests and servers
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to the guests
    • Put drink orders into the payment system accurately and immediately after the order is received
    • Accept guest payment and process credit card charges
    • Keep glasses, bar tops, sinks, utensils, and bar area clean and orderly at all times
    • Present drink and food menus to the guests, also to make any recommendations
    • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager
    • When the shift is over, put away all alcoholic beverages into storage and make sure they are locked up
