Job summary
We are hiring a Heavy Vehicle and Mobile Equipment Service Technician for CCD at Naval Station Norfolk who will be responsible for preventative maintenance service repair troubleshooting testing of forklifts trailers other mobile equipment heavy equipment.
+Responsibilities
- Inspecting Diagnosing Equipment Conduct thorough inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential issues ensure proper functioning You will utilize diagnostic tools software pinpoint problems with mechanical electrical hydraulic systems.
- Complete Repair Maintenance Repair replace worn damaged components including engines transmissions brakes hydraulic systems electrical systems Also perform routine maintenance tasks include oil changes filter replacements lubrication extend equipment lifespan prevent breakdowns.
