    The Talent Development Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-wide curricula for Life Care Services with an emphasis on community leadership. This entails determining the proper blend of learning methods and tools for a given solution, including the use of web-based training. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating, implementing and facilitating training/education programs to ensure that LCS is achieving its staff development goals.

    The Role:
    • Works with the Director of Talent Development to coordinate the identification, development, implementation and maintenance of development curriculum.
    • Conducts needs analyses and other research to gather information, validate need for training, and identify learning objectives.
    • Determines the proper blend of instructor-led and web-based training to be used in a given solution.
    • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates blended learning that is aligned with adult learning principles for new and existing clients (both home office and community).
    • Works with subject matter experts to obtain and validate course content and applies instructional design theory and techniques for adult learners in the design and development of appropriate, effective curriculum.
    • Manages multiple design projects using sound project management tools and methodologies.
    • Partners with HR, Community and Home Office personnel to ensure effective training delivery.
    • Works with HR personnel to ensure inclusion of course offerings and effective use of learning management system, Talent Development Newsletter and LCS Connect.
    • Coordinates implementation of newly developed curriculum with Home Office or Community customers as appropriate training delivery and site management.
    • Recommends and implements improvements to training to maximize benefits to customers and employees, and to meet business objectives.
    • Assures overall quality of the curriculum exceeds customer expectations. This includes all course materials, train the trainers, tools and other resources.
    • Coordinates the agenda, presenters, and schedule for training sessions, including Professional Development Program classes, new hire education, SPLASH, open enrollment sessions, etc.
    • Coordinates the process to gain approval for CEUs for training programs and conferences through NAB, NASBA, etc.
    • Coordinates the development and implementation of training assessments and surveys.
    • Manages learning relationships while demonstrating LCS's principles, brand and values. Ensures all training meets and supports LCS Corporate principles and corporate goals as well as HR specific initiatives.
    • Develops and maintains leader and learner guides, workbooks, handouts, evaluations and other components as required for the specific training need.
    • Maintains a hands-on approach to the curriculum by having firsthand experience with the tools, processes, policies, techniques, devices and services being trained.
    • Develops and conducts Train the Trainer sessions to train facilitators/subject matter experts on how to deliver the curriculum.
    • Conducts pilot training classes for newly developed curriculum.
    • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of training by developing and implementing post- instruction evaluation tools and criteria, such as focus groups and classroom observations.
    • Escalates issues as appropriate and in a timely manner.
    • Maintains the LCS educational calendar.
    Experience:
    • 4-year degree in Human Resources Management, Instructional Design or related field or equivalent related work experience.
    Knowledge & Skills:
    • Excellent process management skills and strong attention-to-detail.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the activities of others and follow-through to ensure programs and processes remain on target.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to use and administer specialized computer applications.

    Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $72,000

    The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors
