- Attend breastfeeding trainings, meetings, and staff gatherings
- Provide breastfeeding information and support to pregnant and breastfeeding participants
- Assist in preventing and addressing common breastfeeding concerns
- Counsel mothers following established protocols
- Plan and lead breastfeeding classes
- Issue breast pumps and referrals as needed
- Maintain accurate records of participant interactions
- Promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience
- Customer service skills
- Experience with WIC
- Basic computer skills
- Previous breastfeeding experience of at least 6 months
