- Cleans and maintains restrooms.
- Empties trash and recycling bins.
- Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors.
- Washes and cleans windows and mirrors.
- Disinfects commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
- Dusts furniture and fixtures.
- Maintains cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.
- Stocks and maintains supply rooms.
- Notifies supervisors of unsafe conditions and facility issues requiring immediate attention.
- Performs minor repairs.
- Changes air filters and cleans vents.
- Assists in maintaining outdoor grounds, including removing debris and snow from sidewalks.
- Strives to meet corporate goals.
- Cooperates with fellow employees and maintains a professional work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products, when to use them, and safety guidelines for using products.
- Ability to operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
- Must be a "self-starter" with the ability to manage time and organize work with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be tactful and able to work well with others.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and/or electronic assembly is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience with corporate housekeeping.
- One year of computer experience is desirable.
