Description

This role requires you to conduct management activities to ensure all Workplace IT hardware assets are correctly controlled and managed throughout their lifecycle in the company.

Ensure inventory is distributed in all the companies locations as needed dynamically. Define processes and controls that will allow inventory to be moved following the needs and requirements at each area.

Ensure hardware assets are accurately accounted and entered in the CMBD and that all hardware SLA are correctly met.

Implement processes to improve the area, continuously review the hardware supply chain, end user offered services, and define technical and procedural improvements.

Ensure inventory is distributed in all locations as needed dynamically. Define processes and controls that will allow inventory to be moved following the needs and requirements at each area.

Responsibilities

Stock Management: Ensure all inventory is correctly managed in the companies warehouses. Implement excellent control mechanisms to enhance inventory management. Deploy logistic processes and solution enabling an effective hardware parts supply chain from hardware procurement request to hardware final decommissioning.

Continuously enhancement on IT Control inventory. Ensure the CMDB is accurate and data quality is correct.

Ensure hardware assets purchases are done effectively with the required parts and features

Assets are correctly built following companies standards

Map assets to users is accurate and update as required

Asset lifecycle is done following the companies requirements

Lifecycle management:

Detailed Demand management plan, including life cycle, new hires and break-fix estimations based on historical information.

Hardware procurement and delivery to companies location based on the required demand. Define the exact hardware that is required to procure during the year based on demand and business requirements.

Query & Analysis: Improvement of the overall performance of query processing, to speed up database functions and aspects.

Knowledge

Knowledge and experience in workplace hardware.

Knowledge of the use and operation of ITSM tools.

Knowledge of micro informatics and the technologies used by the company.

Transmission of knowledge to the technical team.

Management and coordination of work teams.

Ability to lead, organize and plan tasks.

Leadership capacity of the different technical teams, warehouses, and inventory.
