DynaGrid Construction Group LLC is looking to expand its team by hiring a Survey Party Chief who will perform survey layout for substations transmission line foundations drilled piers anchor points steel utilities grading hardscape features read interpret apply civil structural grading utility transmission alignment plans establish verify maintain horizontal vertical control tied project utility control networks support layout verification access roads curb gutter paving improvements per design plans support grading operations collect data cuts fills assist preparation cut sheets earthwork documentation ensure layout accuracy quality control adherence strict project tolerances maintain survey equipment calibration readiness rugged field conditions process analyze manage survey data using Trimble Business Center TBC work design surfaces including TIN models LandXML files contour data perform surface comparisons elevation checks fill analysis against design models prepare layout files reports as built deliverables suitable utility owner EPC inspector review perform office calculations coordinate geometry data adjustments assist boundary ROW survey support easements site limits maintain thorough field notes control documentation project records traceability audits coordinate project managers engineers superintendents inspectors utility representatives resolve discrepancies lead train mentor survey crew members power civil construction surveying standards set daily priorities manage workloads production schedules multiple sites promote culture accuracy safety professionalism ownership provide technical guidance problem solving support mentorship field crews serve primary survey point contact assigned transmission substation civil infrastructure projects take ownership assigned projects mobilization completion willingness travel work out town remote project locations maintain project continuity documentation communication sites support concurrent projects quality schedule expectations proven experience Survey Party Chief heavy civil transmission substation utility projects strong background construction layout as built surveys grading utilities surface based workflows proficiency Trimble Business Center TBC ability read interpret civil structural grading utility transmission construction plans experience working design surfaces including TIN LandXML files contour data solid understanding calculating systems analysis strong organizational skills detail keeping documentation demonstrated leadership mentoring communication skills valid driver license ability travel required Fundamentals of Surveying FS LSIT certification preferred but not required experience ROW easements boundary support transmission corridors familiarity cut sheet preparation grading documentation trouble shoot independently physical skills essential requirements ability lift carry lightweight equipment materials typically up to pounds communicate effectively person phone Medical Dental Vision 401k Matching PTO part dynamic enthusiastic team impactful projects utilities sector competitive pay benefits opportunity growth advancement ready drive career forward company values energy enthusiasm excellence apply todayJob description
