    Description

    Overview

    Assists with program and organizational development and operation through the supervison of staff. Participates in coordination efforts to develop and maintain a continuum of care in rehabilitation services.

    Provides clinical services by evaluating, establishing, and implementing treatment programs for patients of all ages referred to the program in clinical areas of licensures as appropriate. Provides recruitment and retention strategy by developing relationships with student affiliations for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Provides coordination of student experiences within Atrium Health Floyd. Coordinates High School affiliations with rehab aide supervisor.

    Education

    • Skills and proficiency in the principles, concepts, and techniques of the profession for which trained. Minimum of bachelor's degree required

    Experience

    • Knowledge of the profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and a minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of rehabilitation. Experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not required. Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, athlete, adult, and geriatric.

    Licensure/Certification
