    Airgas is Hiring for an Industrial Area Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager in Houston, TX

    • Offering a competitive pay range of $120,000-$130,000 per year.

    How You Can Make a Difference and Grow:

    Job Description Summary: The Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental excellence by engaging with associates at various sites within their region. Responsibilities include:

    • Collaborating with Plant and Terminal Managers to promote Safety & Health initiatives.
    • Monitoring and supporting the safety efforts in the assigned region.
    • Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to enhance safety and ensure compliance.
    • Leading safety and compliance efforts, including assessing safety performance and ensuring OSHA compliance.
    • Conducting site visits, safety audits, and supporting the IMS Auditing Process.
    • Providing safety support during Turn-Arounds (TAR).

    Qualified Applicants Should Have:
    3-5 years of safety experience in heavy manufacturing or the chemical/petrochemical industry.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Science, or Engineering.
    • Preferably Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
    • Experience managing LOTO/CSE and performing Root Cause Analysis.
    • Previous experience in industrial gas is a bonus.
