    Description

    Summary



    This position serves as a Purchasing Agent with the Property and Supply Department of the Pine Ridge Service Unit. The incumbent will perform procurement functions using simplified acquisition procedures and establish blanket purchase agreements, purchase and delivery orders, and credit card purchases. The position reports to the Supervisory General Supply Specialist.



    Duties

    • Responsible for procurement of supplies, services and construction using simplified acquisition procedures.
    • Negotiates terms of purchase orders including analyzing pricing proposal and prepares purchase orders.
    • Reconciles errors with vendors and monitors progress of corrective actions.
    • Maintains files and records in accordance with current filing process.
    • Processes ratifications of unauthorized procurements as necessary.
