    Title: Adjunct Faculty Member - Criminal Justice (Ongoing Pool)

    Overview

    This role involves delivering high-quality instruction utilizing various technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • 75% - Conduct on-ground courses as assigned, including evening, off-campus, and distance learning when necessary.
    • 14% - Timely posting of grades for student feedback and submission of final grades as per set deadlines.
    • 6% - Fulfill all mandatory College trainings, report attendance, provide progress updates, and handle surveys within specified deadlines. Inform Program Chair or Dean promptly if unable to teach. Attend scheduled meetings and adhere to institutional policies.
    • 3% - Regularly check JSCC email and departmental mailbox, aiming to respond to queries within 48 hours during weekdays.
    • 2% - Share class syllabus in advance or update department syllabus in a timely manner.

    Minimum Requirements

    A Master's degree in Criminal Justice or related field, with a minimum of eighteen (18) credit hours in graduate-level Criminal Justice from an accredited institution.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience in teaching at the collegiate level.

    Skills and Abilities

    Familiarity with diverse instructional methods, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a broad range of faculty, staff, and students. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

    Compensation: $600 per credit hour
