This is a Budget Analyst V role at DSHS that involves assisting with the oversight of daily operations and activities under direct supervision. Responsibilities
- In coordination with Branch Manager administers leads activities provides guidance direction to staff conducting major functions of Branch Responsibilities include implementing goals objectives for Branch support agency-wide strategic plans respond evolving needs customers developing approving schedules priorities standards achieving goals assisting evaluation participating regular staff meetings discuss problems resolutions conducts general information training Branch staff agency staff coordinating assigning leading work Branch staff Participates HHSAS budget system maintenance initial operating budget load budget revision journals position control Commitment Accounting payroll routine reporting ad hoc financial queries data extracts required analysis by Branch Staff preparation approval expenditure coding development Legislative Appropriations Request annual Operating Budget performs budget analysis monitoring identification issues review executive program management coordinates revenue monitoring analysis Activities May conduct routine meetings program Staff discuss financial analyses forecasting projections provide recommendations address shortfalls spending Attends meetingsBranch Manager present monthly financial reports Provides technical training program Managers ensure appropriate financial management Program Operations Assists Program development Financial Service Plan support Program Objectives Participates Workgroups implement processes Fiscal ensure Program payments vendors contractors travel reimbursements handled Coordinates procurement Activities ensure Staff processing requests timely manner Coordinates Grant Budget Analysts Fund Management Unit as appropriate Manages special projects requested
