    JOB RELATIONSHIPS Reports to the Administrator DEFINITION OF POSITION Creating and implementing nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment while planning, prioritizing and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members ensuring clinical staff are trained and educated on medications and performing periodic quality reviews to help eliminate and avoid medication errors Encouraging all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care and conducting regular staff reviews Maintaining knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care and educating teams Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, and offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress (this is more prone to our Palliative Care patients) Helps triage patients for our Palliative Care provider Triages and works with Providers during time of staff-shortage. Managing patient and employee records with a focus on following HIPAA regulations and quality standards Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, practice administrator, and physicians Works under the supervision of the physician and CMG Administrator QUALIFICATIONS Professional Graduate of an accredited RN Program Current License to practice as an RN in North Carolina CPR training and certification Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology

    * QUALIFICATIONS
    * Professional
    * Graduate of an accredited RN Program

    * Current License to practice as an RN in North Carolina

    * CPR training and certification
