The student-athlete is expected to be a student first and an athlete second We expect our coaches to demonstrate respect loyalty character sportsmanship and honor both on and off the court/field We seek to hire coaches who want to develop each athlete as a citizen of the community As a District we value winning but also value personal growth teamwork preparation for world beyond schooling Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses current Red Cross certification(s) in CPR First Aid required annual recertification RI Rules NFHS Concussion course All applicants must apply
