    The Compliance Engineer provides energy storage system product compliance support and deliverables for product development, sales proposals, and projects by working with key stakeholders; customers, colleagues, consultants and authorities having jurisdiction.

    Primary Responsibilities
    Provide support for product development and sales proposals through reviews and analysis of codes and standards requirements.
    Provide compliance support for projects and provide reviews and input for compliance deliverables.
    Review products and projects versus applicable codes and standards and perform gap analyses.
    Understand local requirements to facilitate project deployments.
    Collaborate with colleagues globally on compliance topics.
    Represent LGES Vertech in customer/key stakeholder meetings.
    As a secondary responsibility, provide hands-on lab support and coordination with certification organizations for periodic product certification activities.

    Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Expertise in energy storage systems is desired.
    Detailed familiarity with existing codes and standards and certification processes, especially for energy storage systems.

    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to effectively communicate through multiple channels, including conference calls, e-mails, video conferences, and in-person meetings.

    Education and Experience
    A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field is required.
    >2 years direct experience with compliance for an energy storage system, battery system, or renewable energy products and systems.
