is looking for a
Technical Writer (CLEARED)
to join a DoD subcontractor supporting various government programs. This is a
full

time
position offering
great remote flexibility
, but needs someone
relatively local to Alexandria, VA.
Essential Duties of the
Technical Writer (CLEARED):
- Documenting the architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results.
- Ensure content is clear, accurate and aligns with Navy documentation standards
- Translate technical inputs into concise, actionable deliverables for stakeholders
- Support delivery of design artifacts and system overviews
Qualifications of the
Technical Writer (CLEARED):
- 5+ years of Technical Writing experience
- Experience supporting a Navy program/contract.
- Proven experience creating and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals or RFP responses and knowledge-based articles.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Compensation for the
Technical Writer (CLEARED):
- $65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
- Great remote flexibility – only occasional onsite meetings when required by government customer
- Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays
