- The Technical Writer shall work with management to create policy documentation, guides, and manuals.
- Edits draft documents to ensure consistency within the document.
- Writes and/or edits documents, and policies.
- The Technical Writer shall prepare documents for printing.
- Maintains electronic files of document drafts and final versions.
- The Technical Writer ensures documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, content, format, and style.
- Responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts to create, edit, and revise materials.
- Perform other writing duties as assigned.
- The Technical Writer shall have advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated formal editing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to various audiences.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Minimum of four (4) years, preferably six (6), years of demonstrated experience in technical writing, reviewing and/or editing of technical documentation in business, government, or industry.
