    What We Are Looking For:

    This position's main responsibility will be improving the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department's management reporting. The Financial Analyst Intern will use systems and tools such as Planful, PowerBi, Oracle, and Excel to improve the quality and efficiency of the team's analytics. This may be in the pursuit of understanding our actual or projected results, evaluating different scenarios, or aiding internal and external stakeholder requests. This position will report to the FP&A Manager and is required to onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

    What You Will Do:

    · Automate/Improve the department's management reporting.

    · Assist in building/improving automated external reporting package.

    · Analyze Aspida's financials against our projections.

    · Assist in documentation of FP&A's internal processes.

    · Ad Hoc analysis that aid in managerial, rating agency, investor, and interdepartmental requests.

    · Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.

    · Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.

    What We Provide:

    · Full time (40 hours a week)

    · 10-week program (May 28-August 1)

    · Hourly pay (starting at $20/hour)

    Requirements:

    What We Require:

    · Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar field of study with an anticipated graduation date after completion of the internship.

    · Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

    · Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

    · Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

    · Good Interpersonal skills, ethics, and accountability.

    · A self-starter with a willingness to grow and learn.
