    Job Title: Case Manager I/II/III/IV

    Department: Employment & Training Services Department (ETSD)

    Reports To: Case Manager Supervisor

    Supervises: None

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Pay Grade: N3 (I), N4 (II), N5 (III), N6 (IV)

    Job Type: Regular, Full-Time

    COOK INLET TRIBAL COUNCIL is looking for Case Managers to provide support to Alaska Natives and American Indians in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), General Assistance (GA), and 477 service programs.     General Functions:

    Case Managers work on identifying strengths and skills of participants, assisting in crisis situations, and providing necessary referrals and advocacy to access services for self-sufficiency. Joining this team means being a crucial link in empowering individuals to achieve their goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Case Manager I

    • Complete Case Management I Master Training Task List.
    • Support data entry in ETSD databases.
    • Maintain relationships with partners and referral sources.
    • Coordinate participant referrals.
    • Participate in various meetings and sessions.
    • Work collaboratively with the team.
    • Attend training sessions for service improvement.
    • Assist in participant visits and transportation.

    Case Manager II

    • Perform Case Manager I duties with proficiency.
    • Maintain an active caseload.
    • Provide coaching and guidance in job search and life management.
    • Assist participants in setting realistic self-sufficiency goals.
    • Refer participants to relevant workshops and assessments.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.

    Case Manager III

    • Advance case management responsibilities.
    • Support lower-level Case Managers.
    • Assist participants in Social Security benefits applications.
    • Apply knowledge of social work theory and practice.

    Case Manager IV

    • Lead and monitor Case Managers I, II, and III.
    • Ensure accurate data recording and work participation rates.
    • Oversee training opportunities and budget management.
    • Identify policy issues and provide feedback.

    Job Specifications:

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle crisis situations.
    • Customer service-oriented.
    • Knowledge of labor market trends and social needs.
    • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Case Manager I

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Case Manager II

    • Associate's Degree or relevant work experience.
    • Minimum of two years of case management experience.

    Case Manager III

    • Bachelor's degree in related field.
    • Minimum of two years of case management experience.

    Case Manager IV

    • Bachelor's degree in related field.
    • Minimum of two years of case management experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in related field.
    • Experience in social services or non-profit settings.
    • Knowledge of TANF, GA, or grant programs.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Office-based work with computer use.

    NATIVE PREFERENCE STATEMENT:

    Preference given to Alaska Natives, American Indians, and Native Hawaiian individuals in employment.
