- Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
- Processes a variety of documents and/or materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties and ensuring the proper storage of materials and supplies
- Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and inspecting items for damage
- Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and direction regarding status of deliveries, reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel
- Stocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
- Verify the contents against pick ticket.
- Drive vans and box trucks to residential and commercial job sites
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to warehouse manager using cellular telephone.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
- Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
- Communicate with installers and job supervisors to coordinate deliveries
- Stack pad
- Check out materials from supply cage using the cage inventory log
- Cut area rug pads
- Measure and/or cut materials, as needed
- Call customers to arrange pick up or deliveries of orders
- General maintenance of warehouse/office area
- Process returned goods from job sites and customers
- Age 21 years or older
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate
- Ability to calculate simple figures, amounts, and measurements
- Ability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and stoop while handling flooring materials
- Ability to push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and 70+lbs with assistance
- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules; Work as part of a team
- Ability to operate forklift equipment
- Adhering to safety practices; handling hazardous materials
- Ability to safely operate a box truck and/or van
- Have a valid drivers license and a good driving record
- Computer skills - Windows and MS Office preferred

MADISON, WI
We are looking for a fast paced and hardworking Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our company. The Warehouse/Delivery Driver will be required to adhere to our protocols while observing standard safety guidelines.
Must be 21 years of age with a good driving record over the past 3 years.
The primary function of the Warehouse/Delivery Driver is to provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders, making pick-ups as necessary, and performing general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed.
