- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Family Services Coordinator (FSC)
- Must exhibit qualities of a leader and have effective communication skills
- Exceptional authorization rate for both organ and tissue and work with management and the director(s) to monitor, assess and improve authorization rates
- Work with Family Services Manager, Hospital Services Manager and Hospital and Family Services Director to establish goals and objectives for the FSC role to maximize donation
- Assists in determining annual competencies for the FSC role and annual approach training for the clinical team
- Vets training opportunities for FSC's through local, regional and national outlets
- Build a Family Services resource library that can be used with donor families
- Take five (5), 24-hour call shifts/month when an orientee is in training, returning to eight (8), 24-hours shifts/month when orientee begins assuming all components of the FSC role on a donor case. The decision to re-assume 8 days of call will be made jointly by the Family Services Trainer and Family Services Manager.
- Point of contact for Family Aftercare department
- Acts as a resource for the Family Services team when the department manager and/or Director are unavailable.
- Will be the primary preceptor/trainer for all new hires. This includes implementing a robust orientation training program for these individuals.
- Assists the Family Services team with in-office duties as needed.

Job DescriptionDescription:LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, a non-profit organ procurement organization, is looking for a Full Time Family Services Trainer. This position will train and develop new Family Services Coordinators. This position is responsible for ensuring the training program is effective, up-to-date and make changes and improvements to the training program when needed.
This position has an On Call component and will be responsible for working the call schedule.
