    Dynacraft Process Engineer reports to the Inventory Control Manager and is responsible for the study, analysis, development, improvement and documentation of the plant assembly processes focused on inventory movement.

    The job also includes assistance with continuous improvement efforts focusing on: departmental safety, quality enhancements, ergonomic improvement projects, line balance optimization, and improvements in overall departmental efficiency.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    Study and analyze plant assembly processes with recommendations for improvement.
    Overall departmental efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
    Eliminate roadblocks for production/distribution.
    Manage departmental training matrix, level 4's and Training Book.
    Implement and support initiatives to improve training levels.
    Conduct process and product audits and document results.

    Develop, document and maintain documents that define and standardize operations, including but not limited to JSS, SWI, OPL, Kaizen forms, and other process documents.

    Assist in the maintenance of developed software programs (Visual Factory, EWI, etc.).
    Monitor and track scrap by department, establish plans to eliminate scrap.
    Support new manufacturing processes EV, DV, QV and VV builds.
    Make recommendations for reducing product cycle time, efficiency improvements and reduced manufacturing costs.
    Participate in FMEA, PCP, or PFMEA review discussion.
    Be able to recommend process and/or system changes to enhance safety/productivity/quality.
    Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects.
    Track and report results of internal defect measurement.
    Work with cross functional teams on various Projects.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Must be able to operate independently with little guidance while being a positive contributor to a team environment.
    Must have excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
    Proven problem-solving skills are required.
    Must lead by example and have a proven record of excellence in attendance, dependability, and safety.
    Must be self-motivated, well organized, flexible, and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation.
    Computer literacy is required with a familiarity of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
    A minimum of three (3) years manufacturing and/or distribution experience preferred.
    Demonstrate understanding of root cause and corrective action tools/methods.
    Hands on ability and data analysis skills a plus.
    Experience with SAP/RF/Operations preferred.
    Education

    Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business.
    Six Sigma training is preferred.
