    Job Description:

    • Positions support various programs within the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS).
    • Project Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of tasks or sub-programs within a major program.
    • In support of the Program Manager, Task Leads /Project Managers are responsible for the overall definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans related to their assigned project.
    • This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources; and establishing technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs

    Required Skills and Experiences:

    Required:

    • 15+ years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management
    • SME-level experience in Budgeting, Briefing, and Defense at the OPNAV and Congressional levels
    • Communication and Briefing Skills at the SES/Flag Level

    Desired:

    • 20+ years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management (FM)
    • Conceptual Knowledge of U.S
    Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) systems


    • Demonstrated Knowledge of SHAPM/PARM working relationship
    • Demonstrated Experience balancing a complex multi-appropriation portfolio.
    • Demonstrated Experience with cost/schedule performance as it relates to program execution.
    • Demonstrated Experience in task planning and its translation to program execution.
    • Demonstrated Experience working in a program office at Naval Sea Systems Command
    • Demonstrated Program Management Experience running a mixed team of subcontractors.
    Demonstrated Knowledge of DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) including Acquisition Plans (APs) and Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs) Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
    • Must be a U.S
    citizen.
