    We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our distinguished pharmacy team. Duties include sterile IV compounding and labeling medications, maintain inventory levels and the clean room environment, documentation, preparation of orders & special projects.

    • Position: Pharmacy Technician
    • Location: Roseville, MN
    • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
    • Requirements: The position requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT credentials) and current registration in the state of Minnesota. Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills are a must. The successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative, follow through, and flexibility. Experience in IV pharmaceutical compounding or the homecare field preferred.

    THE POSITION:

    • Compounds medications, labels medications under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist
    • Maintains clean room environment and conducts proper and accurate record keeping activities
    • Helps with implementation and record keeping to meet Quality Assurance guidelines
    • Assists in preparing patient orders for shipping by pulling and/or verifying supplies
    • Assists in coordination of scheduling/compounding of medications for patients receiving on-going therapy
    • Complies with all State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations relating to Pharmacy Technicians
    • Maintains registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
    • Helps with maintaining appropriate inventory and/or ordering medications through wholesaler and direct, I.V. fluids, supplies for use in the pharmacy and use with patients
    • Reconciles inventory invoices against what is ordered and checks for correct contract pricing when applicable

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) credentials required.

    Registered in the State Board of Pharmacy.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational and communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team.

    Knowledgeable in the specialized functions of preparing and dispensing compounded, sterile parenteral products, including the principles of aseptic technique and quality assurance. Related experience and/or training is a plus.
