    Job Title: Summer School Nurse

    Location: Connecticut (CT)

    Duration: Approximately 6 weeks starting in July

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our summer school program in Connecticut. As a summer school nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students during the summer session.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide medical care and assistance to students with various health needs
    • Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and guidelines
    • Monitor students with chronic health conditions and develop care plans as needed
    • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
    • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff regarding students' health concerns
    • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Connecticut nursing license (RN or LPN)
    • CPR and First Aid certification
    • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred
    • Knowledge of common childhood health issues and medications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting

    Schedule and Compensation: This position is for approximately 6 weeks during the summer session, starting in July. The schedule may vary based on program needs. Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
