    is a Top 10 Midwest CPA and business advisory group (Accounting Today, 2023) that was formerly known as Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C.

    Founded in 1947 and serving client organizations from coast to coast, Honkamp's clients range from privately held organizations to individuals and nonprofits.

    We specialize in industries including construction and real estate, dental practices, home health care, restaurants, manufacturing and distribution. Honkamp is headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa, with additional locations in Cedar Falls, Davenport, Hiawatha and Waukee in Iowa; St. Louis, Missouri; and Madison, Platteville and Oshkosh in Wisconsin.

    We are seeking an experienced tax professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and leading a team towards excellence.


    Key Responsibilities :
    Directing and supervising tax engagements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standardsLeading a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environmentDeveloping and implementing tax strategies that optimize client outcomes and minimize tax liabilitiesCultivating and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutionsStaying abreast of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, and imparting this knowledge to the team and clientsThe Ideal Candidate :The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing our tax practice, managing client relationships, and providing strategic tax planning and compliance guidance

    Requires:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferredMinimum of 5 years of tax experienceExperienced in reviewing individual and entity returnsStrong technical expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consultingProficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsWhat we Offer :Competitive wage and benefits package that includes
