    **Description**

    **Pilot Freight Services** is seeking a **Full-time Class A drive**r to work in our **Charlotte location in Charlotte, NC.

    The start time varies from 1 am to 8 am start times and 1 pm - 8 pm ending times.**

    **Responsibilities:**

    Perform Local Commercial & residential pickups and deliveries.

    Accurately complete required paperwork on each job as well as daily paperwork.

    Keep on schedule as provided by the dispatcher.

    **SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:**

    Must have clean motor vehicle record

    Able to apply basic problem-solving skills

    Ability to read and interpret maps

    Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas

    Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms and other related documents

    Ability to discern numbers and information

    Ability to manage deadlines

    Able to use various dock equipment sucks as forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap and other materials

    **JOB DESCRIPTION**

    Bilingual helpful: Spanish/English

    **EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:**

    High School degree or equivalent

    Must be forklift certified

    Valid drivers license with proper class and endorsements (hazard endorsements preferred) issued by the drivers home state of residence

    Acceptable driving record as defined by DOT/TSA regulations

    Must meet physical requirements established by the DOT and have or be able to provide a valid medical card

    Must be CDL certified

    **EXPERIENCE****:**

    Minimum of one-year verifiable driving experience in the industry and in the type of vehicle that will be driven

    Must be at least 25 years of age
