The LAMC Nutrition Services department welcomes new staff to work place that provides you with meaningful work, an ability to learn, flexibility in scheduling, competitive wages, and weekend and night differentials. The position also allows for great patient interaction and a friendly family atmosphere.
Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas
Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services. Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures. Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and catering special events. Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications - External**
HSD/GED preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
NM Food Handler's Card must be obtained within thirty (30) days from hire
