- ACLS - ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Required within 90 days of hire
- NPR (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required within 90 days of hire
- In lieu of a SC Driver's License, a valid driver's license, from a state other than South Carolina, may be accepted if primary residence is not SC. The required active South Carolina AND National Registry EMS certification meets the educational requirements for this role.
- A Provisional SC Paramedic certification meets education and Paramedic certification requirements but are required to obtain conventional South Carolina certification and NREMT certification before the provisional certification expires.
- PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) - Preferred
- Patient Equip (Vitals, suction, defib) experience
- Cardiac Monitor, Defibrillator, Pulse Oximeter, Non-Invasive BP Monitor, Infusion Pumps, Other Equipment- Required
- One year pre-hospital care experience - Preferred

Assesses, transports and administers basic and advanced life support treatment to ill and injured persons in accordance with department, system and South Carolina DHEC policies, procedures and standards.
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
S LICENSE:
Valid driver's license and an acceptable five-year motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart
