    Job Summary:

    Essential Responsibilities:

    The Registered Nurse should demonstrate proficiency in various skills, competencies, and behaviors:

    Leadership:

    • Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities, and relevant laws.
    • Serves as a team leader, delegates tasks appropriately, and shows accountability.

    Clinical Outcomes:

    • Discusses patient progress with the healthcare team.
    • Makes nursing decisions based on data interpretation.
    • Participates in performance improvement activities.

    Workplace Safety:

    • Follows safety principles and practices.
    • Maintains a safe environment for all.

    Patient Care Experience:

    • Provides excellent customer service and maintains patient confidentiality.
    • Responds promptly to patient needs.
    • Ensures a clean and orderly work environment.
    • Treats all patients and families with kindness and compassion.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Experience

    · Minimum 6 months of recent experience in a healthcare setting.

    Education

    · Not specified.

    License, Certification, Registration

    · Must have a Registered Nurse License (California).

    · Basic Life Support certification.

    Additional Requirements:

    · Must have Basic arrhythmia certification.

    Notes:

    · Must work every other weekend.
