- Full-time position suitable for a physician experienced in assessing and managing patients with obesity and related conditions.
- Work schedule from Monday to Friday with minimal on-call duties.
- First-year guaranteed salary with attractive benefits package, including support for relocation.
- Requirements include completing an accredited fellowship in Obesity Medicine or being board-certified/board-eligible in Obesity Medicine by the ABOM.
- Should have board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine sub-specialty, or Family Medicine.
- Expertise in the field of obesity medicine encompassing knowledge of genetic, biological, environmental, social, and behavioral aspects influencing obesity.
- Proficiency in non-surgical treatments such as diet, exercise, behavior modification, pharmacotherapy, as well as caring for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients.
- Must be eligible for a medical license in Mississippi.
