As a Database Report Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports and queries to extract, analyze, and present data from our databases.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
Design, develop, and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and views to retrieve and manipulate data.
Create and customize reports using reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, or similar.
Develop and automate scheduled reports and dashboards to provide timely insights to decision-makers.
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports.
Optimize report performance and efficiency by tuning queries and optimizing database structures.
Document report specifications, data sources, and processes for future reference.
Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for report-related issues.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience in database development, reporting, or a related role.
Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database querying.
Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or Power BI.
Familiarity with relational database concepts and structures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Understanding of database performance tuning techniques.
Certification in database administration or reporting tools.
