    Job Summary
    Plans and conducts therapeutic procedures and programs to maintain and/or restore the patient`s psychological and social capabilities. Evaluates and assesses patient needs and establishes treatment objectives. Implements individual and group recreation activities.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum Education Requirement:
    Bachelor`s degree.


    Minimum Experience Requirement:


    One year of experience in a psychiatric health care setting or the equivalent of a completed internship in recreation therapy from an accredited psychiatric program.

    Excellent customer service skills required.


    Minimum License Requirement:
    Must have current National Council for Therapeutic Recreational Certification. BLS required. MAB or equivalent course required upon hire.

    New hires that have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer.
