- Provide litigation support to attorneys, including drafting legal documents and managing case files.
- Schedule hearings and client appointments efficiently.
- Prepare trial notebooks and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with accounting requests and manage mail flow.
- Coordinate attorney calendars and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Utilize various legal tools for efficient case management.
- Support grant management and interpreter coordination.
- Perform additional tasks to support unit operations.
- Maintain detailed time records for accurate billing and tracking.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completion of a paralegal training program, legal technology, legal administration, or legal studies degree/certificate, or a bachelor's degree with a major in legal services.
- Minimum of four years of experience in legal secretarial work, or two years of civil law office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
