Logistics Technician III at TENAX
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Logistics Technician III at TENAX, you will play a crucial role in providing support for inventory control, property control, warehousing, acquisition, receiving, shipping, assembly, packaging, and transportation.
You will be responsible for material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops based on practical experience in processing and expediting supply transactions related to the particular organizations serviced. Your tasks will include conferring with Test Officer or Government POC to determine materials overdue, locating and moving materials to specified production areas, recording quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand, as well as coordinating calibration compliance using standard Army management information systems.
Additionally, your responsibilities will involve planning, coordinating, and conducting logistics projects, preparing written plans, reports, schedules, and milestones, developing project plans, outlines procedures and issues, and identifying long and short-term goals and objectives. You will participate in audits to ensure compliance with logistics regulations, gather and analyze data, assist in interpreting data and reports, and conduct various logistics training.
You will also participate in meetings regarding logistics concerns related to assigned projects, be the primary operator of the Unit Level Logistics System S4, update and maintain inventory records, interface with the Property Book Officer and Primary Hand Receipt Holders, manage the accountability of durable items, and identify excess materials for processing and turn-in.
Requirements for this role include applicable experience, an Associate's Degree or equivalent, a license to operate forklift(s) and other required support equipment, physical capabilities to lift 25 lbs. unassisted and wear Personal Protective Equipment, U.S. Citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, passing pre-employment screenings, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
