A company in the Philly area is seeking a talented and experienced Azure Engineer to join the team of about eight. As an Azure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of the organization and clients. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Azure-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies. Implement and optimize automated processes for provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining cloud resources. Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure environments. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Set up and configure monitoring tools to track system performance, availability, and reliability. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource utilization. Maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure environments, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.
