Job summary
The 6 North general surgical nursing unit is a 43 bed unit that specializes in the care and management of patients receiving treatment from a variety of surgical service lines.The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible.
The job includes leadership responsibilities such as providing peers with both verbal and written feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance,
assigning duties to staff when performing charge role,
and utilizing effective time management skills to complete assigned duties within established work shift.
