Job Description

As a Security Officer - Routine Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, communicate clearly, and report concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing alarms, suspicious activity, and tenant concerns, and escalating issues through the chain of command as needed.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.

Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, managing visitor check-in processes, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site instructions.

Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident reports and patrol observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A Guard Card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
