- Entegris is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Lab Technician for our Bedford, MA facility. Wednesday - Friday 12:00 pm-8:30pm and Saturday-Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
- The technician will provide analytical support for membrane manufacturing and R&D team, including but not limited to sample preparation and testing using GCMS, GCFID, HPLC, ASE, UV-VIS, titration etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all EHS safety requirements
- Follow Standard Operation Procedures and conduct sample preparation and instrument operation
- Analyze and interpret test data and maintain documentation of test operations
- Remove and dispose chemical wastes in accordance with company established safety procedures
- Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner
- Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes
- Communicate both internally with team members and externally with customers
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is preferred, but a related scientific discipline with at least 2 years of lab work experience is required; relative internship/co-op experience will be considered
- A strong scientific mindset and attention to detail are key to success in this role
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment is required
- GCMS and/or HPLC experience is preferred
- Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred
- Ability to handle customer requests appropriately
- Ability to prepare samples correctly and timely
- Ability to provide and communicate results to customers accurately
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently when needed
- Ability to multi-tasking and stay well organized
