This position leads the planning, coordination, and execution of packaging process engineering functions, ensuring the optimal selection of equipment technologies for primary and secondary packaging in the production of pet foods and treats.

Contract salary: $ per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Provide packaging engineering process design and review for capital projectsCoordinate work with outside consultants, suppliersApply broad knowledge of standards, principles, practices in packaging specialtiesSupport continuous improvement efforts, technical assistance to operating facilitiesInvestigate, analyze problem areas, opportunities for packaging, process enhancementsApply understanding of line balancing, equipment specification, vendor coordination, testingAssist in developing/modifying department technical guidelines, standards, specificationsCommunicate, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldstrong plus: OHSA, Project Management (e.g., PMP/PMI), LEAN Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement (e.g.
