- 5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence data science, machine learning engineering, or data analytics
- 2+ years of experience with implementing, testing, and fielding automation artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions
- Experience with software and artificial intelligence projects
- Experience with a programming language, including Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing
- Experience with using AI and ML frameworks, including Pytorch or Tensorflow, and multiple libraries
- Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing

- Experience working with the Department of Defense
- Experience in embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust

The Opportunity:
As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support government and military clients. As a machine learning engineer on our team, you'll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.
In this role, you'll lead the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and introducing leading-edge technologies. You'll provide expertise around artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications, development, and incorporation into future and existing technologies. You'll communicate capabilities to team members for understanding of capability and how the technology will enhance operations and coordinate with multiple, non-matrixed stakeholders to gather data.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
