The Controls & AutomationEngineering Manager will be responsible for uptime continuous improvement troubleshooting leading and training operators on all automation equipment within the Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Warehouse This individual will be working with state-of-the-art industrial controls hardware collaborating with a diverse team to help deliver automation processes to the highest standards Responsibilities Business Requirements Strong technical background to help troubleshoot eliminate tough problems implement innovative solutions Managing updating key OT equipment in the form of bugs firmware updates outages Manage coordinate controls hardware upgrades obsolesce failures Manage day-to-day operations systems needs for all automation equipment Managing team of technical individuals warehouse team members operating maintaining automation systems equipment Responsible for PLC Drive Decentralized IO module etc troubleshooting Comfortable developing code for PLC application ladder logic function block structured text Intermediate skill programming Rockwell Platforms Intermediate skill HMI screens FTView Machine Edition Site Edition platforms Aveva Motion control applications integrating servo drive systems configuring servo drives configuring motion profiles tuning motion applications sizing/implementation servo applications Process controls applications Opera PlantPAX design PID tuning instrumentation calibration setup Flow Meters Scales Control Valves Pressure Transducers Radar Programming knowledge experience desired Python LabVIEW Java C# MATLAB Basic knowledge machine safety practices capable executing risk assessment National codes not limited NFPA 70E NFPA 79 ISO OSHA UL508A IEEE Understanding circuit design derating hardware integration Single phase three phase electrical circuits Troubleshooting power failures ground faults short circuits open circuits Interpreting analyzing single line diagrams PIDs equipment electrical prints Machine process control experience Working different classes sensors drives servos motors controllers industrial setting Learning Robotics Industrial Vision eliminate losses floor
