    Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Company: We have been engaged to search for a CFO of a growing manufacturing company based in Orange County, CA.

    Location: Orange County, CA (on site)

    Compensation: up to $280K plus bonus

    Overview:

    As the CFO you will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategies, operations, and fiscal functions of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, providing strategic financial planning, and ensuring fiscal discipline to support the potential IPO.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals and potential IPO. Provide guidance and insight on capital structure, funding opportunities, and risk management.
    • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
    • Accounting Oversight: Manage and oversee the accounting functions, ensuring proper maintenance of all accounting systems and implementing best practices. Lead financial audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
    • Capital Management and Funding: Manage capital structure and funding needs, exploring opportunities for investment, acquisitions, and capital raising, preparing the company for potential public offering.
    • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Monitor and mitigate financial risks and exposures.
    • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
    • Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including investors, banks, and the board of directors, providing clear financial insights and reports.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
    • Proven track record in finance leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
    • Experience in both small and large companies, demonstrating adaptability and scalability.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and fiscal management.
    • Experience in preparing for and executing an IPO is highly desirable.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
